Where do I register my car? You can register your car at the Town Clerk's office at 3 Market Place. Please see the Town Clerk's page for more details and their hours.

Is there trash pickup in Hollis / How do I dispose of my trash? The town does not have trash pickup. The Transfer Station is located at 10 Rocky Pond Road for household trash and recycling. Please bring proof of residency to purchase a waste disposal sticker for $2 (cash or check). The Stump Dump collects brush and yard waste at 275 Depot Road. Please see the Public Works page for more details and hours. Household Hazardous Waste collection is available in Nashua on schedule dates for items like paint, fuels and pesticides.

What Electric, Telephone and Cable companies service Hollis? Under the Community menu on this website you can find many helpful items including links to Public Utilities.

What are the local schools in Hollis? Please see our Schools page for links to public and private schools in Hollis, and school boards.

Where do I register to Vote? You can register to vote at the Town Clerk's office at 3 Market Place or with the Supervisors of the checklist, or on election day. Please see more details on the Voter Information pages.

When are tax bills due? Tax bills are typically due July 1st and December 1st and can be paid online, by mail or in person at 7 Monument Square. Please see the Tax Collector's page for more details.

Where can I find Property Assessment information? Property assessments, property maps, tax maps, credit and exemption information can all be found online through the Assessing Department page.

Where can I find information on Recreation programs? The Recreation Department page has information on their programs hollisnh.org/recreation.

Is there a Seniors group in Hollis? Yes, the Hollis Seniors meet weekly at the Lawrence Barn, please see their page for more details hollisnh.org/seniors.

What major events happen in Hollis each year? Each year we have a Memorial Day ceremony, Strawberry Festival in June, Old Home Days in September, Apple Festival in October, Luminary Stroll in December. Please see the Community Calendar on the town website for all upcoming events.

Where is the Library? The Hollis Social Library is located at 2 Monument Square. Please see their website hollislibrary.org for more details on their hours and upcoming events.

How can I get Hollis emergency notifications? We use CodeRed for emergency notifications and you can sign up here. The Police Department also uses Nixle for notifications and Twitter for general announcements including traffic delays.   

Where can I have something Notarized? The Town Hall, Town Clerk and Police department have a notary available during normal business hours. There is a small fee for non-residents for this service.

Where can I go for a marriage, birth or death certificate? The Town Clerk's office handles these Vital Records Requests. Some items may be requested on line from the Town Clerk's page. Or you can visit the Town Clerk at 3 Market Place during normal business hours.
