The Hollis Police Department is excited to announce that the agency received a grant from Walmart.  The department qualified and received a $1,000.00 grant from the store as part of the company's community grant program, which focuses on meeting community needs by proving grants to local organizations. Store Manager Richard Suarez, from the Walmart (Store #1796), located at 85 State Route 101A, Amherst, New Hampshire, made the official presentation to Police Chief Joseph Hoebeke at the Amherst Store on April 15, 2022.

Chief Hoebeke says the $1,000.00 grant will be used to help fund a number of community outreach programs and initiatives, like the annual National Night Out Event, which will be held in August. These programs are critical in helping the Hollis Police Department build and strengthen mutual respect, cooperation, and trust between agency members and the community.

Chief Hoebeke wishes to to thank Store Manager Suarez and the Walmart Giving initiative, as they have continuously demonstrated their commitment to giving back to communities throughout the State of New Hampshire and across the country.
