Pink Patch Project to Benefit the PINK Revolution Breast Cancer Alliance

Chemo Care Packages
PINK PATCH

The Hollis Police Department is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the Pink Patch Project, which will help raise money for Chemo Care Packages.  We are pleased to partner with the PINK Revolution Breast Cancer Alliance, a not-for-profit organization, and more specifically, Lauren Caulfield, a breast cancer survivor, and Ronda Chrystal and Lisa Folding, who have set a goal of creating 1300 care packages filled with goods.  These care packages will then be provided to persons receiving chemo and/or radiation treatments for all types of cancer.

The Pink Patch Program started in 2015, when the Irwindale Police Department in California ran with the idea and sold their patches to the community, raising over $20,000.00 for one of the nation's largest and most effective cancer centers, the City of Hope.

Chief Anthony Miranda took the idea to the Los Angeles Police Chiefs Association and 25 local agencies came on board.

Today, the program has expanded to several hundred partner agencies throughout the world and includes partners from police, sheriff, fire, EMS and federal departments worldwide.

How it works:

The Hollis Police Department will be selling our Police Patches, which are the color pink of course, for $10.00 per patch.   Sales begin today (October 21, 2019), and will continue until November 11, 2019, or until all patches have been sold.  We have 100 total patches and we expect that they will sell fast, so please contact Administrative Assistant Karen Lawton at (603) 465-7637, or klawton@hollisnh.org, to get your patch or patches today.  We ask that you please pay with cash for the patches.  You can also pay for patches with a gas card valued at no less that $10.00.

We will also be selling the patches at our Drug Take Back/Coffee with a Cop/Shred Day/Food Drive event being held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Hollis Police Department.  Please make an effort to stop by if you have some time.

All the proceeds from the patch sales will be provided to Lauren Caulfield and her team, so that they can use the money to buy goods for the chemo care packages.  Please take the time to visit the chemo care packages Facebook page for more information:
