Welcome From The Chief

As Chief of Police, please allow me to welcome you to the Hollis Police Department's website! The Hollis Police Department is deeply committed to working with its residents, businesses, and institutions to form truly effective police-community partnerships, and we truly embrace and live by our department motto of being “Committed to Excellence.”

The police department is the most visible form of government within the community and quite often, is the first contact that citizens have with their local government. We, as police officers, understand that it is a tremendous responsibility and are willing and prepared to assist you in any way possible.

The Hollis Police Department is constantly striving to improve itself to better serve the community, which is exemplified by our status as a Nationally Accredited Law Enforcement Agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).  The Hollis Police Department is one of only 17 law enforcement agencies in the State of New Hampshire to maintain a nationally accredited status, which is an accomplishment we are extremely proud of.  The accreditation process requires that participating law enforcement agencies meet and adopt over 100 different standards of compliance, all of which provide our agency with a modern management model and a mechanism to operate using only nationally recognized standards or best practices of policing. Ultimately, these standards are designed to make police departments like ours more professional, efficient, and responsive to the citizens we serve.

If you are a Hollis resident, or just visiting the area, we are here to serve your public safety needs. Thank you for stopping in and, we hope you enjoy our website.
