DAR is a service organization and genealogical society with the mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Locally we support education through a monetary award to support the High School Good Citizenship Award and the Middle School History Essay Contest. Our patriotic society is active in historic preservation right here in Hollis, and we annually celebrate US Constitution Week. Membership is open to descendants of those who aided American independence.
Meet 2nd Tuesday each month 2pm from Sept-June. Several meetings during the year are at alternate times. Meeting locations vary.
Flint Pond Improvement Association
The Flint Pond Improvement Association is a 501c3 dedicated to the protection and restoration of Flints Pond in Hollis, NH
Meets monthly, 9:30am every 3rd Saturday, to discuss
NH Department of Environmental Service
