Electric Aggregation Committee

PURPOSE AND GOALS:

Advise the Board of Selectmen on the steps leading up to a town vote on an Electric Aggregation Plan and final approval of CPCNH as the default electric energy supplier for the residents of Hollis. Specific tasks include:

• Collect Data and Set Goals
• Draft an Electric Aggregation Plan
• Hold public hearings to solicit community feedback.
• Complete the Electric Aggregation Plan
• Submit a warrant article for approval of the Electric Aggregation Plan for review by the Select Board and for vote at town meeting.

5 Regular members, one of which is on the Select Board

CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP:

Following are some criteria for consideration.

• Interest and familiarity with community power.
• Interest and familiarity with electric supply market and current options.
• Experience organizing and facilitating group meetings (i.e., public hearing).
• Writing skills
