Annual Awards Ceremony: Hollis Police Department Honors Agency Members and Community Members/Swears-In Newest Officer

Hollis Police Chief Joe Hoebeke presided over the annual police department awards ceremony, held at Lawrence Barn Tuesday afternoon. Select Board and town officials, members of the police and fire departments, family members and townspeople attended the gathering sharing smiles and laughter, handshakes and hugs.

Chief Hoebeke prefaced the presentation with his belief that “[t]he men and women of the Hollis Police Department constitute the very best of the policing profession. They are compassionate, hardworking, professional, dedicated, and selfless servants who place the safety of our community before that of their own. Moreover, they consistently demonstrate the honor and nobility of the policing profession.”
