Employee of the Quarter Selection

As Chief of Police, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Dawn Desaulniers, IT Director, has been selected as the Hollis Police Department Employee of the Quarter (April through June, 2019).  Although Dawn is technically not a member of the Hollis Police Department, she is part of our family and she does so much to contribute to the success of our agency.  She also sits in the building, which makes it that much easier to bother her with our IT related questions.

It is not surprising that Dawn has been nominated for this award every quarter since this program’s inception.  Those who work with Dawn know and see how hard she works and witness everyday her willingness to always assist members of the Hollis Police Department and Hollis Communications Center.  In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and effective in her role as the Information Technology Director for the Town of Hollis, Dawn has consistently demonstrated a genuine care and compassion for all those she interacts with on a daily basis. 

Dawn has assisted in numerous Police Department and Communications Center projects, most notable of which were the Police Department’s scanning project.  Dawn has also been instrumental in the implementation of our new process for processing payroll using the attendance module through IMC, as well as the implementation of E-Citation, E-Accident, and E-Complaint.

Dawn most certainly maintains a very busy schedule, but she never complains about helping others and has established herself as an integral part Hollis Police Department and Hollis Communications Center teams.

For this, and many other reasons, I am proud to announce Dawn Desaulniers as the Employee of the Quarter.  Her continued professionalism, work ethic, and kindness reflects great credit upon herself and the Town of Hollis.
