The Hollis Police Department is releasing agency data for the reporting period of calendar year 2022 detailing the distribution of Hollis Police Department criminal arrest, field interview/field contact, consent search, and motor vehicle stop data by race, ethnicity and sex, compared against the Census data (V2021). This analysis is available by clicking HERE, and can also be found under the CALEA Annual Compliance Reports included in the 'About Us' section of the Hollis Police Department webpage.

This annual analysis is in compliance with Hollis Police Department General Order AD-131, Fair and Impartial Policing, which is available for instant public access and review in the Hollis Police Department General Order repository on the agency webpage of www.hollisnh.org/police.  For ease, you can access these General Orders by clicking HERE. This annual analysis also complies with Accreditation standards established by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA); specifically, standard 1.2.9. There is no legal requirement for the Hollis Police Department to make this information available; however, our agency elects to post this information for immediate public access and review.

This annual review is a required element of the aforementioned CALEA standard surrounding the prohibition of bias-based policing.  Bias-based police (also known as "racial profiling or bias-based profiling), is any traffic stop, field contact, vehicle search, asset seizure/forfeiture, or enforcement action based solely on a common trait of a group. Common traits include, but are not limited to, race, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic status, age, or cultural group.
