The Hollis Police Department is excited to announce that the agency received a grant from Walmart.  The department qualified and received a $1,500 grant from the store as part of the company's community grant program, which focuses on meeting community needs by proving grants to local organizations. Store Manager Frankie Harvey, from the Walmart (Store #1796), located at 85 State Route 101A, Amherst, New Hampshire, made the official presentation to Police Chief Joseph Hoebeke at the Amherst Store on January 13, 2020.

Chief Hoebeke says the $1,500 grant will be used to financially support the implementation of wellness initiatives for members of the Hollis Police Department and Hollis Communications Center. The Hollis Police Department and Hollis Communications Center have made a commitment to invest in maintaining wellness for the members of these two agencies because it has a direct impact on their ability to be effective.

Chief Hoebeke wishes to to thank Store Manager Harvey and the Walmart Giving initiative, as they have continuously demonstrated their commitment to giving back to communities throughout the State of New Hampshire and across the country.
