We are excited to introduce the newest addition to the Hollis Police Department, Officer Julie Hinckley. Officer Hinckley is from Prospect, Connecticut and attended Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Management. Officer Hinckley participated in the 2020 recruit hiring process, which was spearheaded by the hard work of Lieutenant James Maloney. She was selected from a group of more than 50 applicants who applied throughout the 2020 calendar year.

Aside from distinguishing herself as a highly qualified candidate for this position, Officer Hinckley was also hard working and dedicated student, which is evidenced by her strong academic standing while at Franklin Pierce. She graduated with a 3.84 GPA, and was active in a number of extracurricular activities, such as being a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society and the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. She also served as a Volunteer Fire Fighter.

Officer Hinckley officially began her employment with his agency on April 20, 2021. She will participate in roughly two weeks of In-Service Training before beginning the 185th session of the New Hampshire Full-Time Police Academy (16 weeks), which begins on May 3rd.

We wish to congratulate Officer Hinckley and her mother and father on this important achievement, and we thank her for choosing the Hollis Police Department. We wish her much success and safety as she embarks on her law enforcement career.
