HOLLIS POLICE REMIND RESIDENTS TO LOCK THEIR VEHICLES

June 21, 2021
Lock your car doors

LOCK YOU CAR DOORS. As you may have seen on the news, many communities throughout Southern New Hampshire are reporting increases in thefts from motor vehicles. This is a reminder to get into the habit of locking your car doors even when parked in your driveway, and please check to be sure your car doors are locked every night before you go to bed.

You should also never leave anything valuable in your vehicle in plain view. Recent vehicle theft cases shows that unlocked cars with valuables inside were targets of these thefts, while every car that was locked was left alone.

Since we know that criminals often times talk to each other, it is our goal is to make it where they find so many locked car doors in Hollis that they’ll tell all their buddies not to bother coming here.

As always, if you see or hear anything suspicious in your community, please call the Hollis Police Department at (603) 465-7637, or dial 911 for emergencies.
