Join Us for Cone with a Cop at Brookdale Fruit Farm

On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, officers from the Hollis Police Department and community members will come together in an informal setting to discuss community issues, build relationships, have some ice cream, and drink some coffee. The ice cream, which will be offered to children, is being generously provided by Rick Hardy and his staff at Brookdale Fruit Farm. All community members are invited to attend. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30th at Brookdale Fruit Farm, 41 Broad Street, Hollis, NH. Please contact Capt. James Maloney with questions:

This event provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the Hollis Police Department’s work in the community. The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies, or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community and some community members may feel that officers are unapproachable on the street. Events like this help to break down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction.
