National Public Safety Telecommunications Week

April 11 through 17, 2021
Dispatch

The week of April 11-18, 2021, is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Appreciation week, also known as Dispatcher Appreciation Week.

Our dispatchers are the ones behind the scene, who are often not seen while they work. They are the ones who answer when you call for assistance, whether it be during an emergency or for other reasons. They are a calm voice in that moment of need, and the ones who get the information to tell first responders where they are needed.

At the Hollis Communications Center, the dedicated and professional Public Safety Dispatchers provide services for police, fire, EMS, and DPW agencies in the Towns of Hollis, Brookline, and Mason.

We thank you for ALL you do, and we recognize your professionalism and dedication to duty!
