SCAM ALERT
Email with Invoice from Department of Motor Vehicles

The following is a scam that was recently brought to our attention. A citizen in the Town of Exeter received an email with what appeared to be a generic DMV traffic ticket notice requesting payment via embedded links (photo attached). This is a SCAM as DMV does not send out electronic invoices for motor vehicle citations.
If you receive one of these emails, please assume it is a SCAM and delete it from your inbox.
